Requirements

  • 1. Copyright of Film

You must possess or have the legal rights to the film you intend to upload. This means that the film's copyright is registered in your name or your company's name, ensuring you have the exclusive right to distribute, display, and modify the work. A copy of the copyright registration or a legally binding agreement that grants you these rights may be requested to verify ownership.

  • 2. Clearance of Music

Ensure that you have obtained all necessary permissions and licenses for the music incorporated into your film. This includes both original compositions and any pre-existing music. Documentation proving that you have the right to use this music in your film, both for current distribution channels and any future releases, is required. This is crucial to avoid copyright infringement and potential legal issues.

  • 3. Synopsis

Provide a concise and compelling synopsis of your film, summarizing the plot, key characters, and the overarching theme or message. The synopsis should be engaging and give potential viewers a clear idea of the film's content, genre, and unique appeal without revealing any crucial plot twists or the ending. Aim for a length of about 250 to 500 words, ensuring it captures the essence of your film and intrigues your audience.

  • 4. Trailer

Submit a high-quality trailer of your film that effectively teases its content, tone, and visual style. The trailer should be between 1 to 3 minutes long, designed to attract viewers by highlighting compelling scenes, dynamic editing, and intriguing snippets of the plot. It should encapsulate the mood of the film and encourage audiences to watch the full feature.

  • 5. Artwork / Poster

Provide an official poster or key artwork for your film. This visual should be professionally designed and reflect the film's themes, mood, and aesthetic. The poster should include the film's title, key cast members, and the director's name, along with any accolades or festival selections, if applicable. The artwork must be submitted in high resolution, suitable for promotional use across various platforms and media.

  • 6. Film Rating

When submitting your film, it's imperative to accurately assign a film rating that aligns with the Motion Picture Association’s standards. This ensures your audience is appropriately informed about the content they're about to view (If uncertain, please seek out MPA Film Guidelines). Your film could be classified as:
